User Experience Designer
Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Interaction design (Masters is preferred)

The UX designer is a technical role that is responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction by improving the usability, accessibility, and pleasure associated with a product in a way that is attractive and convenient for users. The UX designer is responsible for creating interactive programs that enhance a customer’s experience with a brand and facilitate an enjoyable experience when using the product.
As the position combines elements of user psychology and digital design the UX designer requires knowledge of both subjects to deliver quality products and services. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design or related field is essential. This individual should excel at both analytical as well as creative ideas for a design engagement. A thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies is a must. The candidate is required to have a functional understanding of coding and transfer the brand’s strengths and personality seamlessly throughout the interface of the Jifflenow product.

Responsibilities
● Research and prototyping by interviewing end-users customers or the voice of customers.
● Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps and UI mocks to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas establish the best overall design elements
● Build storyboards to conceptualize designs to accurately convey project plans to clients and senior management
● Enhance user experience by creating seamless navigation by combining modern interface design concepts with digital design
● Creation and evolution of UI and brand language within the product.
● Meticulous detail and care for design execution, from concept to delivery.
● Participating in all project phases, from strategy to launch to optimization
● Tightly collaborate with software designers and developers to bring new product features to the market.
Role Requirements
● 3-5 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing UX design leveraging emerging technologies, consumer electronics and/or mobile devices.
● A solid understanding of the Design Process, User Interface Design.
● Strong conceptualization ability and visual communication ability.
● Be able to establish and maintain visual design and copy-writing guidelines.
● Proficiency with design tools, and an obsession with pixel-perfect detailing.
● Hands-on Experience on Adobe, Sketch, Figma or any other similar tool or other visual design and wireframing tools.
● Experience in designing for mobile and web – good understanding of Material Design (for Android) and iOS
● Understanding of common software development and project management practices.
● Exposure to HTML, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, Objective C (iOS), C++ (Android)
● Design degree or other related fields from premier institutes like NID, IID, etc..
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Self-development skills to keep up to date with the fast-changing trends.
